THE UNLEASHING

Perhaps this is a vulnerable thing to confess, but there are times when I am tough. And there are times when I am not so tough. It's the ultimate balance of light and dark.  It is in that darkness I learned who I was.  I learned not to fear the darkness, but to look it dead in the eye and challenge it.  And in doing so, I learned. I discovered who I was, what I was really made of.  It is in those times of self-trial, that we grow. Strong, and that strength, channeled into a productive force, can be powerful.  It changes lives. Empowers people, gives them reassurance that they can and will overcome. That is the inspiration for these designs.I stuck to solely black and white shirts to highlight the inner conflict. The concept, born in shadows...found its own illumination and forged its own route back to the familiar world.  Those battles you face when no one is looking, that is self-reliance.  Once fearing solitude, you learn to welcome it like a long-lost friend. and learn from it.

And through every step of my journey, there has been one constant. Bella, my girl, dog companion, and best friend.  She sees my flaws and yet anxiously waits for me by the door. she notices, I'm sure of it, those little shadows of darkness creeping in, and still, she willingly comes to my side with a comfort offering in the form of a torn-up dog toy.  She is my rock, my constant, my anchor.
